Get ready for WIC online shopping!

The Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition, in partnership with the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), is working with WIC State agencies, stores that accept WIC food benefits, and online shopping platforms to bring online shopping options to you!

WIC online shopping can help improve your shopping experience by:

Making it easier to find WIC-approved products.

Simplifying the checkout experience by allowing the use of WIC food benefits to pay online.

Allowing you to choose a convenient pickup or delivery time—all from a phone or computer!

Questions about WIC online shopping?

  • WIC online shopping gives WIC participants the option to use their WIC food benefits while ordering groceries online. WIC online shopping can include online or in-person transactions, and families can choose to pick up items or have them delivered. The use of WIC food benefits in online grocery shopping could be used along with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and other forms of payment at participating stores.

  • Each WIC State agency will have a different timeline for when and where WIC online shopping is available. You can reach out to your WIC State agency to ask about updates on WIC online shopping in your area. You can find your WIC State agency contact information here.
